Blisstasy.

For a long time I have been dissatisfied with the words joy, bliss, love et al as a description of what really exists at a spiritual level.
This morning, when lying in bed in the hynopompic state of being between sleep and wakefulness, thought started flowing to resolve this search and I let it flow. I saw clues like that state of serene being which is non-emotional joy, bliss, love et al, and therefore pure or unaffected by the vagaries of emotion, and was aware that I had to search for a suitable term.
The result of this was that I looked up a dictionary for serene, the various meanings of bliss, and the origin of both bliss and ecstasy, and came up with the phrase a quality of being – that quality of being which, when considered by the mind (mented), creates emotion but, when experienced, is without emotion. I found that serene means peaceful, blissful, clear, bright; that one meaning of bliss is “ecstatic joy of heaven” and that ecstasy derives from the Greek existanai = to displace. This in turn led me to look for a single word to encapsulate what is described in Earthly terms as joy, bliss, love et al. I finally came up with a combination of bliss and ecstasy - that is blisstasy. There is no verb for blisstasy because it is something one ‘is’ – a quality or state of being – not something one does. However, one can use the word blisstatic (adj.) to describe the spiritual, or thought, state but not the mental state. This is because the spiritual state cannot be the mental state and vice versa.
So now, as I see it, joy, bliss, love et al are earthly soul experiences, or emotions, and blisstasy is that permanent state we seek through enlightenment and I will use the words accordingly in future.
In conclusion: Blisstasy means “That spiritual ‘quality of being’ or 'state of being' which is beyond the physical/mental (emotional) experience and surpasses joy, bliss, love et al.”

FINALLY! yes…THIS IS NOT AN EMOTION! It is a power, only accessible within the witness condition…and blisstacy…is good for describing the condition of being conditionless.hehhehehehaha!..
meaning not pushed or pulled by emotion, yet FLOWING from now, to now…in this condition of hhhmmmblisstacy…very very good word. No way to make a judgement from here…eh?

I try to avoid commenting on comments here because freedom of expression is important and who am I to even say “Well done?”, but sometimes it seems called for! So, johanna, you now know why I have not commented on your comment. :-) Now, back to sawinder - Talking about 'amazing' you do not know how many times I have walked around my room or house saying, “This is amazing, this is amazing!” or some such thing!
As for the messengers bit it is important that know that there is nothing special about them as I have said elsewhere and even in one of the lead pages to my book I ask the reader to ignore the messenger but heed the message. As for me, if I am one then I am one but it is no big deal - it is the words that count.

Ian, you are BRILLIANT! I love that you are using your gift of intellect to help shine the light of clarity to the rest of us. I'm really proud of you. :D
I'm just getting into the habit of creating words myself, since I feel quite limited in my expression sometimes… most important I've found is expressing the feeling behind it, not the verbology and the 'correctness', then you can touch many more people with it. Which certainly you have done here.
I was playing around with the term 'enriched peacefulness' for some time while I started on my higher path, but somehow blisstacy seriously excites me as having that kind of an emotion to it that I can aspire to… every day. YES!!
I've had to communicate with many non-first language English speakers and many 'simple' people about faith, which is why my style of expression has changed. It is more casual, informal now, just to make sure the message finds its place. But I don't regret it; losing my formality doesn't at all diminish my ability to actualise in communicating which really is the target. And I still can swing back to the big word stuff when I have clarity… also a state I've learned access to… finally!
No need to respond, just accept my appreciation for putting your gifts to such wonderful use.

I agree…there is nothing special about the messenger, except that they figured out how to communicate the message!
HOWEVER…I also learned that at least for me, with my own “messenger”
(and we often call this person our savior, or our master because they SUCEEDED at SAVING US from our negative thinking hell realm we kept creating…and master because once we stop creating it…we have MASTERED LOVE in our moment NOW!)
had I not opted to sing his praises, and not opted to receive the blessings and the shaktipat healing transmissions, had I not FIRST HEARD, and of course then BELIEVED the stories he tells, and then meditated regularly for years and years within this message to cultivate its “power” I would never have stumbled upon my own message!
(and only did so because out of “his” love for me…he empowered ME into understanding I was the messenger for my own understanding of the moment now love message…and so, I was inherently the creator of all of the mircales I kept attributing to HIM…right? A REAL messanger will, as quickly as possible, empower YOU to be a messanger…yes? Our message? lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove/compassion seated within lovelovelovelovelove
The message is always the same…we need to travel from moment now to moment now seated in profound compassion for ourselves and all other reflections of our “selves” in that moment…yet when we do
the MOST extraordinary things begin to occur…seemingly impossible without that specific messenger…so
it IS important to find a messenger one can feel magnetically pulled into love with…in order to be able to recieve this love so completely that it serves to transform the conscious experience into a compassionate moment now…

For Sherri - Whatever the 'language' used it is important to convey the message clearly and that is where the choice of words comes in.
Not long ago I coined the phrase emotional self-sufficiency for the state of being following the achievement of non-attachment to emotion/s.
For Johanna - I agree with all but the last paragraph. Wise thinking or menting!
Perhaps I am using words you do not resonate with, Ian…
because even if we stick to a book or an online conversation to acheive our awakening goal…there is the reality of magnetic energy, and the reality of needing to change thinking…
so no matter how one looks at this…
unless one already has this profound internal connection to awake compassion energy…
we need someone to help us get through the hardest parts..magnetically
so we “fall in love”
with words that change us…hence…the author of the words…
or
a PERSON that helps us grow into this change…we “love” that person for haivng done this, yes?
So…this work can not be done without “falling in love” with words or the author of words, or the person whos loveing magnetic energy inspired you into your own change towards greater loving compassion…

I understand this, as where the idea of “savior” or “master” comes FROM….
If someone gives you information that FREES YOU from suffering in negative emotion…
that person just “saved you” from the fires of helll
and…
If the information heals you, or ushers us closer into the light of loving compassion, then we have begun to “master loving compassion” and hence…your inspiring other has taught you to “master” this internal energy of compassion or love…hence we call them our “master” because they teach us to master ourselves…yes?????
to me, this is all just semantics….
Yes, Johanna, in the end it is all a matter of semantics - words, labels, each having a different meaning, perhaps, to different people! If we communicated by telepathy we would have clarity of communication!
Yes too to “magnetic energy” as everything sublimates to fundamental “energy” within the universe.
yes, yes and yes…everything “sublimates” to fundamental “energy” within the universe…
and, when we “realize” that this “seat” of energy , or universal POWER…is residing in us…sitting, literally in our heart, as stillness within compassionate love…and mind us all the passion part is what MOVES this energy out from our hearts, even tho this reservoir is tapping from the universal SOURCE and is endless, timeless and motionless….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It only moves out from there…when we “intend” it to…
the stable “substrata of all space”…ie: Conscious compassion…ready to become POWER any time you “tap” this power….and intend it to go forth….
and of course…this is when the MIRACULOUS…becomes “NORMAL”….
so…EVOLUTION = LOVE moving forward from now…to now….

I happenned to arrive at my Gaia page somehow today and saw the following!

consciousness in its stillness just is…with or without movement of any kind. yes.
and “we”, as this subtle consciousness…just “are”….understood.
and when we “apply” compassion now, to now…the “quality” of stillness…remains empty, bu t the “passion” of of compassion, may cause this stillness, to move or radiate from “within” the stillness of this radiation. And hence, the “quality” of compassion may begin to radiate out from witihn, thereby causing an experience for “other”…who…by the way
also just “is” and doesnt actually “exist” at all.
