Copy in Oils : Painted in oils c.1954 mostly in artificial light after work and copied from a confectionery box.NB. This is an extract of a B&W photograph wherein this painting hangs above the fireplace in my then home.I await a colour photograph of this painting requested from the owners in August 2009.

Coffee Shop, Charing Cross, London, UK. : Painting in oils.In memory of a beautiful event with beautiful company.Painted by me 1961 in oils from a pencil sketch made in London from memory shortly after the event.In much earlier times this street, and many others like it, contained coffee houses (stores) which also served coffee. At the time we visited, these were coffee shops only for drinking coffee.
