Tangakelle Group, Cymru Div. c.1953. : Asst.Mngrs' bungalow, Cymru Division. The sitting room in my second plantation home. The painting and the lamp were by me. The lamp was made from a varnished slice of a conifer tree branch with a piece of branch acting as the bulb holder.

Tangakelle Group, Cymru Division. c.1953. : Pluckers sorting leaf prior to it being weighed.At this stage fibrous stalks were removed as much as possible as such stalks resulted in red stalks or fibres in the black tea, a detrimental quality in the final product.
